About
My goal as a teacher is to guide and mentor my students through their musical education. I hope to be able to teach all my students the necessary sight reading, technique, aural and theory skills they need so they can learn any piece of music they want. I hope to build a foundation for my students so they can teach themselves and expand their musical learning.
I've been playing the piano for 20 years and specialize with composition/arranging and collaborative piano (accompanying) skills. I'm a classically trained pianist, but am always open to teaching my students any genre of music they wish to learn. My lesson plans are customized to each individual student's goals and learning styles.

Sarah is an amazing teacher! She is so talented and shes really good at demonstrating how she wants me to practice and play my pieces. Taking lessons from her has really boosted my confidence in my piano playing abilities, and it has opened my eyes to the potential music has to really be an expression of my own thoughts and feelings.
