I have been teaching viola and violin for 20 years. I am the founder of The Uintah Basin Youth Chamber Orchestra, and I am now living in Salt Lake City. I specialize in teaching advanced students but I have just as much experience teaching beginners and adults. But most of all, I enjoy it! And I know you (or your child) will as well. Yes I will teach Suzuki method if requested and we'll have a great time! But it's not my preferred method. My preferred method is to challenge the student in a way that they progress at their own speed using repertoire and technique. If you're an adult who just wants to learn, perfect. Or if you're an advanced high school student trying to prepare for college auditions, even better! Or you have a child just starting and you don't even know where to begin.
