Alm Family Music Studios offers a fresh take on piano lessons, combining tried and tested traditional methods, with modern methods applicable for the modern day individual. Husband and Wife team Morgan and Kyle hold Master's of Music and run the music studio. Lessons offered include Classical, Jazz, Pop, and Contemporary piano lessons, Composition Lessons, Songwriting lessons, and Music Theory Lessons. Lessons are offered virtually as well as in person. Alm Family Music Studios also offers group lessons to young beginning students. Morgan and Kyle are both currently Adjunct Faculty at Snow College, where they teach private lessons and classes.
Kyle and Morgan have both been teaching since 2012, and have enjoyed every moment of it. They hope to continue growing their studio and sharing their love and passion for music to others.
We love sharing the joys of playing the piano with others. We enjoy seeing the spark of interest in a student, and watching them progress and grow. We are passionate about sharing our knowledge of music with others, and helping them find a love for music.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, if they have played before, we like to hear them play to get an idea of where they are at. From there we begin to create a curriculm based on the student's progress so far. As for brand new students, we follow a traditional method of teaching, while incorporating a more modern style of teaching that tends to be more fun and invigorating for the students. We like to hear what their interests are, such as favorite songs, movies, videogames, etc. We create custom made sheet music for our students based on these interests so they are playing songs they enjoy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both recieved our Bachelor of Music and Master of Music. We have studied under a number of professional music eduactors from various colleges, and are always trying to learn more and improve on our teaching methods.

$80/month for 4 half hour lessons.
$150/month for 4 hour lessons.
Rates are the same whether it is in person or online.
How did you get started teaching?
We have both been playing the piano for all of our lives, and love sharing the joy of playing the piano with others. We both started teaching in 2012, and have loved every minute of it since. Music education is an incredibly important thing in any person's life, with scientific evidence linking music education to higher levels of academic achievment. We love being able to introduce music into the lives of others, and help them love it as much as we do
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with young beginning children, advanced college students, intermediate adults, and everything inbetween. Every student is unique, and we shape our curriculum based on the needs of the student.
