Haley Smith Music

I believe that music should be a source of joy and inspiration for everyone, and this belief is at the heart of my teaching. With a foundation in formal classical training and a diverse background—including eight years of performing in an indie rock band—I bring a unique perspective to my lessons. My varied experiences allow me to connect with students across different genres and styles, helping them find and embrace the music that resonates with them.

Rather than adhering to a rigid curriculum, I tailor lessons to each student’s individual interests and strengths. I believe in fostering creativity, exploration, and personal growth in music education. My goal is not just to teach students how to play the piano but to help them develop a lifelong love for music.

Through our lessons, students will gain technical skills, confidence in their abilities, and a deeper appreciation for the art of music. I take pride in the lasting relationships I build with my students and am dedicated to making their musical journey deep rooted, fulfilling, and uniquely their own.
