Good day: I offer individual, couples and group cooking lessons inclusive of children. I'm a veteran (scratch) chef of more than 2 decades, have cooked in restaurants, including my own, my boutique catering company and as a private chef. I've cooked for celebrities and dignataties as well. Very vegetarian and vegan friendly. I take you from the beginning, which engages in how to start with great ingredients, knife skills, nutrition, how to cook for one or for a dinner party. If you are an advanced cook, we can skip the basics and go straight to more challenging curiculum. I've had many years of special events and if you love entertaining, we can focus on showing you tricks of the trade for hosting parties your guests will never forget. The work that I do has bought me years of happiness. I enjoy cooking and sharing the mysteries that I'v learned from my years of cooking in New York and most recently, cooking Creole in New Orleans. Cooking Creole is a totally different style of Southern Cuisine that has its own language and rich history embeded in African, Haitian, French and Spanish culture. We all eat the same foods, what makes the food different is how we use our seasonings. My work has taken me beyond the United States to explore cooking in other countries. So, come and explore world cuisine with me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin with a phone session to gage what the student knows and doesn't know regarding food. Exploration of current eating habits and lastly desired goal.

I'm Serv safe certified and have 18 years of professional cooking.

I price per person most of the time and offer a small variance for couples. There are bundles for groups.
How did you get started teaching?
I began training during my years of working in food service for corporations.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've taught children ages 8 and up, as well as adults.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Use the power of google for verification first. Make speaking with the instructor a priority so that you can determine that you will get your moneys worth. And lastly, relax and have a great time.
