About
We came from humble beginnings with our director growing up in the city of Lima, Peru. Dancing is a part of life for all Latin Americans. We express our passion for life though dancing and it is our belief that dancing should fill you with joy, it shouldn't be about just memorizing steps like a robot. Classe was established to share and teach this same love of dancing with everyone in the D.M.V. We would teach without a studio driving from house to house for private lessons, teaching at local dance clubs and traveling to dance venues just trying to establish a name for ourselves. We frequently traveled to Spain and South America to work with the greatest dancers in the world and refine our skills as instructors. As time moved on we gained a passionate following of students who helped turn Classe into what it is today. Now we are blessed to be able to teach all levels of students, train dance teams, work with kids and to promote the empowerment of women.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process first begins with assesing the students level of dance so they are placed into the proper leve of classes. We have options for every skill level and want our students to have fun but also push themselves to be the best they can be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing for over 17 years and teaching professionally for the last 5 years. I have spent countless hours refining my skills by traveling to Europe and South America to dance and train with elite level dancers. I have worked hard to learn from the best dance instructors around the world and I never stop growing and learning myself. I am a certified Bachata Sensual instructor by Korke and Judith of Spain.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, our classes have standard pricing. This is dependent on the type of class (private lesson, group lesson, team training etc...) and the amount of classes.
How did you get started teaching?
Dancing is my love, my passion and my life. I feel alive and full of happiness when I dance and I always wanted to share this feeling with others. I am blessed today to be able to work with what I love the most in life and share in my students happiness!
What types of students have you worked with?
All types! We have kids classes, young adults, older students, beginners, intermidiate, advanced level students and everything in between!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say to find somone who is passionate about dancing and that equally cares about seeing their students succeed. I belive in being direct and honest with my students, it's not in your best interest for me to sugar coat everything and never push you to become the best you can be. I promise that you will always receive my 100% effort in teaching you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do they want to accomplish exactly? What are their goals for dancing? To have fun, to compete professionally, to find a way to be social and meet people? Be clear so we can work together to achieve your goals.
