Our Professional Dance Instructors continue to learn all the time to keep up with the New and Involving of the dance style they are teaching. Our Instructors ONLY teaches what they are learn and don't try to teach all the dance styles that are out there. When chosen a place to take dance lessons...first look at their website, then look at their dance instructor to see how many Different of style of dance classes they are teaching. For Example, No Instructor can keep up with all the new techniques for Country, Ballroom, Latin and Swing....to be able to teach them all.

All our dance instructors live and breathe the style of dance they teach.

I studied tap, ballet, and jazz at the York School of Dance which was located in Yorktown when I was six years old. I was a cheerleader for the York County League from 1966-1971, then became a Majorette during her intermediate and high school years. In 1990, I started modeling for different agencies that is when I fell in love with Line Dancing from a local club I was modeling in at that time.

I started teaching Beginner Line Dance Classes at local area clubs in 1992 until I started working for Newport News Parks & Recreation in 1994-2001. I also started working with York County Parks & Recreation at my studio until 2013.

I opened Country Bootleggers Dance Studio in 1994.
