Welcome! I have been teaching music for two years. I earned my Bachelor’s in Music Performance and Master’s in Music Education and while studying music discovered my love for teaching. In college, I had the opportunity to help lead a group of forty 4th-6th graders in learning all the string instruments. In my teaching, I focus on building a solid technical foundation while also encouraging students to play by ear. My goal is to help each student not just learn their instrument, but also find the same love for music that’s been such a special part of my life. I believe a learning environment should be structured with the opportunity for students to have fun and I strive to accomplish that in each of my lessons.
