My primary objective as a teacher is to help you achieve the goals that you would like to meet at the piano, on the trumpet, or in furthering your music theory skills. Whether you’re just looking to learn a little bit more for fun, become more fluent as a player, or looking to improve a piece for an important audition, I provide you with helpful guidance, practice tips, and lessons that are catered and personalized to your desired goals.

I have been playing and studying the piano for 10 years and the trumpet for 5 years. I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Education at Christopher Newport University and have completed 4 semesters of Music Theory courses. I have experience performing in numerous solo recitals on both instruments, serving as an accompanist for soloists and ensembles on the piano, and playing the trumpet as a part of many ensembles at CNU such as the Marching Band, University Band, and Wind Ensembles.
