At Harwood Studios the goal is to support each student to obtain their highest potential and reach beyond their own aspiring goals. Our passion is teaching students to love music in a cooperative, non-competitive environment to develop their own unique voice. We think that learning music is a great tool to help people grow emotionally and intellectually, to help people be more empathetic, and to help give people more ways to connect with others.
I love teaching and helping students grow in their love of music. Every student is different. I enjoy motivating them in their individual journeys. I look forward to meeting my students each week and try to make it fun as well as instructional.
I have studied with some excellent teachers and love sharing the techniques, theory, and knowledge to develop students who can read and perform with a relaxed yet powerful technique.

Masters in Music, Certified K-12 Music Education with honors. Trained under teachers from Juliard and Eastman.

All lessons paid monthly in advance. Prices: 1/2 hour weekly piano lesson $35.00. 1 hour weekly piano lessons $65.00. 1/2 hour weekly voice lesson $40.00 1 hours weekly voice lesson $75.00. 1 hour combined voice and piano lesson $75.00. How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in college and have taught lessons for over 40 years. I have learned to tailor my lessons to the goals and needs of my students.
