About this pro

I have been teaching piano for more than 20 years. I work with my students on a combination of music theory, technique, and sight reading to make sure they develop a holistic music knowledge and improve their performance skills. I also love to prepare my students for concerts and public events so they can put their knowledge into practice outside of their comfort zone.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

At the very start, I like to take the time to speak th with my student and the parents, since most of my students are children. For this, I organize a free 15-minutes introductory session.

During this session, I will sit down with the student and parent to better understanding their objectives and provide a deeper explanation of how I teach music and work with my students. We will also work on a couple of easy music pieces during this first session to see if we are a good fit for each other.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been teaching for more than 20 years. I have attended and trained at the Austrian Cultural Council. I am also certified by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity College London. I have a teaching degree of Royal Conservatory  of Music (RCM)

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?

Becoming a piano teacher was my dream ever since I was 7 years old and started attending the classes of a very charismatic piano teacher. That desire and passion drove me forward and when I was 22 I had my first student. I haven't stopped ever since.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with a wide range of students from 3 1/2 to 50 years old. I spend most of my time working with younger students from

I've also had the pleasure of working with special needs children, an extremely rewarding experience (you can read more about it in this news article: bit.ly/LAPublication).
