About
I am an excellent teacher because I provide my students with the best learning resources, am attentive to their personal goals as well, and I keep things light hearted so that we both have fun. I teach virtually every genre of piano music out there including pop, classical, jazz, rock, bossa nova and salsa.
I want to help people train and explore their musical skills, and most importantly have a joyful relationship with music.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process:
- Understand the student's goals in piano. For example, they want to learn to read music, or want to learn to improvise
- Break their long term goals down into smaller, more manageable ones.
- Get to know a little about their taste in music/art, hobbies, professional ambitions, as this all helps with planning the lessons
- Propose an organized and effective plan for regular piano lessons
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associates of Arts degree in Jazz studies from Cuyahoga Community College
Bachelors of Arts degree in Professional Music from the Berklee College of Music
Completed 8 grades of Trinity College London Guildhall classical piano and music theory
Playing piano professionally for many concerts alongside artists including Terence Blanchard, Dominick Farinacci, Ernie Krivda and Akua Allrich
