My passion for music spurred when I was a young age, 10, ive been playing for ten years and within those years I’ve accomplished a lot. Ive played with orchestras performing various concerti (Grieg’s concerto in a minor, Liszt’s concert no 1, and others) Igenerally takes roughly 5-6 years of playing to really master the piano, I did it in about 2. I am currently working on a piano performance degree. I’ve won several awards and high rankings from local to national music societies (national piano guild, various musical festivals) My passion for piano is just immense I play wherever and whenever I can. I’ve been accompanying since I was 12 and I currently play at various local theatres. My methodology of teaching is meticulate and sometimes tedious. I strive for my students to have basic knowledge of not only how to play the piano but the technicalities, developing musicality, understanding the music theory behind everything. I believe as a musician you should be able to be well rounded and verse in all these areas to truly master the craft. So because these areas take time to develop I’m willing to take the time, energy, and tools to become a strong musician it’ll just come down to you to decide if how you benefit from my lessons. Overall I’m a passionate teacher who loves what he does and wants to share to whoever is willing to learn.
I thoroughly love piano and I love teaching it to others. I think being able to understand and to read music can be incredibly beneficial for anyone. The arts have helped me incredibly and I would to share what I’ve learned with others.
