How did you get started teaching?
For as long as I can remember music has always been a part of my life. Knowing that I can share my love for music by teaching those who want to learn brings joy to my heart and eases my mind. This is the reason why I began teaching private lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from ages 5 to 67 years old that had many different skill levels and goals. It does not matter your age, gender, race, or level of proficiency. As long as you are passionate about learning, I can teach you.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a locally owned and operated private teaching studio. You will be advocating and supporting musicians rather than a large cooperation.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What instrument am I interested in learning more about?
What are my main goals when it comes to elarning this instrument?
Am I committed to taking the time it is required to learn and advance towards my goals?
