FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When starting with a new student, I work hard to ensure we go over the student's goals and determine where we need to begin in the learning process. From there, I can advise and create a compatible lesson plan specifically designed to each student.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor of Music in Composition 16 years of Violin 12 Years of Cello 3 Years of Viola 12 Years of Composition

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Trail Lesson: -A one-time, 30-minute trail lesson/$25 One-time Lessons: -30 minutes/$35 -45 minutes/$45 -60 minutes/$65 I do offer Monthly Lesson Plans at a discount. Each package comes with one lesson per week for 4-5 weeks at a time starting the first week of each month. Pro-rating is possible if a student would like to start mid-month. Monthly Lesson Plans: -30 minutes a week for 4-5 weeks/$110 -45 minutes a week for 4-5 weeks/$150 -60 minutes a week for 4-5 weeks/$200

How did you get started teaching?

For as long as I can remember music has always been a part of my life. Knowing that I can share my love for music by teaching those who want to learn brings joy to my heart and eases my mind. This is the reason why I began teaching private lessons.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students ranging from ages 5 to 67 years old that had many different skill levels and goals. It does not matter your age, gender, race, or level of proficiency. As long as you are passionate about learning, I can teach you.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for a locally owned and operated private teaching studio. You will be advocating and supporting musicians rather than a large cooperation.
