Theodora Cottarel

Hey there! I’m a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree. I’ve been lucky enough to perform all over the world and recently came in second place in the Seattle Opera Guild’s competition. I’ve got some exciting performances coming up, including ‘Lucia di Lammermoor’ in New York, and solo concerts with Sun Valley Opera and Broadway and SkyOpera. Alongside performing, I’ve been teaching music privately and have done some training to become a music therapist.

Lesson Overview: During our lesson, we’ll start with breathing and singing warm-ups tailored to your specific needs. Then, we’ll work on songs in the style of your choice.

Teaching Style: My approach to teaching is positive and encouraging. I frequently check in with my students to ensure they feel on track and make sure to individualize each lesson to address their unique challenges. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach!

Styles Taught: I teach all styles of music! While my background is in classical music, I have a love for all genres. A classical foundation provides a strong base of knowledge that can be applied to many different styles.
