Our teaching staff includes Miss Lauren, our founder, who teaches small group piano classes and our music-immersion preschool.

Miss Hae-jin Kim is a classical pianist and educator originally from South Korea. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in piano performance from Busan National University and Master of Arts in music focused on piano from Ke-myoung University under Dr. Chung-haeng Lee and another Master of Music in piano performance from University of Louisville, KY under Dr. Vernon Cherrix and Dr. Maurice Hinson while she studied abroad in America.

Miss Hannah Jung a passionate pianist and phenomenal educator of 10 years with a Bachelor of Arts.

Miss Maria Kovalsky an experienced musician and educator with a Master of Sacred Music from the University of Notre Dame.

Small group piano for ages 4 to 14 years. A year round, weekly program, these classes are held Monday through Friday from 4-8pm.

Do Re Mi Academy is a fun place to be at. My daughter enjoyed it for many years first in preschool, where she was introduced to piano, and then for many years in small group. Our goal for her was to enjoy music and piano and Do Re Mi Academy achieved that.

Amazing Teachers and Engaging Classes

My 6-year-old son absolutely loved his piano lessons! The group classes were a fantastic experience—he not only enjoyed learning but also made new friends, which added to the excitement. Compared to private lessons, where he quickly got bored, the group setting made learning fun and engaging.

One of the standout aspects is the biannual recitals. These performances are such a wonderful way to witness the students progress and growth in confidence. Watching my son play piano in front of an audience and seeing his skills develop over time has been truly rewarding.

Overall, I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a fun, social, and confidence-boosting approach to piano lessons

Small group piano is $195.00 per month. Small group piano tuition is split into equal monthly recurring payments that are made on the 1st of each month. Book fees are additional, but minimal, and only 1-2 times per year (upon initial registration and when a class graduates a level).

How did you get started teaching?

Beginning over 3 decades ago, we have now served over 3.5k happy piano playing students and counting!

What types of students have you worked with?

We love working with children from as young as 4 to 14. All levels are welcome here!
