A quality music education is a gift that begins with curiosity and enchantment and ends with confidence and the ability to learn and perform/share with others any piece of music in the world. It's just like learning to read words, so that one can pick up a book, and read to themselves, or to others.
With music, we step beyond words just a bit more because music can include words or not, and has an energy that is independent of words: an energy that connects us with the universe, as well as our human soul.
In short, a quality music education is the ability to sing a song, play an instrument, or tap a rhythm, and know, hear, and feel that miracle of life that is you.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work with students to help them realize their full musical potential, understand music theory easily, and enjoy the mastery of playing the piano well, reading music easily, and expressing themselves through the music. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a nationally performing concert pianist, have taught for 30 years, and for the multi-media aspect, I am also a professional visual artist and my work has exhibited nationally, and internationally on social media.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50.00 per hour/$25 per 1/2 hour. Beginners only need 30 minutes. Advanced students need the full hour for the longer pieces they manage.
How did you get started teaching?
From the desire to share music, music theory, and my own PASSION for music and what music is all about.
What types of students have you worked with?
Age 6 through adult, and the young concert artist. I have many students who have gone onto performing careers, music teaching careers, and various other musical careers.
