I have been teaching for over 25 years of private lessons in person and online.
My degree is in Music from SUU (Cedar City UT) I have been teaching piano, string instrument, and vocal. I have experience in composition and theory.
The piano method I use is nontraditional, called Simply Music. It is a wonderful method that originated in Australia. It is simple for very young students as well as adults. I am a certified Simply Music Piano teacher.
I also have a couple of CDs recorded with my own compositions and did some local performances.
In my opinion, any teacher enjoys seeing their "fruits" when students make a progress. Especially those who never had any experience with an instrument.
I love seeing, commitment, hard work, improvement, and joy in my students:-)
During years of teaching, I met many wonderful students who loved music and wanted to develop a skill.
Kasia is so kind and patient. She is very a very talented musician and my daughter looks forward to her time with Kasia.
She is a good teacher because she teaches the piano with a new, innovative method. He also teaches violin, guitar and vocals. She is a patient and smiling teacher.
Kasia has a great way of teaching music. Her studio is personable and well prepared for any student. She is a great teacher with love for music.
I had lessons with Mrs. Kasia Haroldsen for about 6 years! She is an amazing teacher: always patient, considerate, encouraging and available to answer all my concerns! I am genuinely thankful to her for putting up with my whiny attitude during the first few months when I began taking beginner violin lessons! She is also a super sweet person outside the classroom and treats me and my family like her own. We have many fond and memorable memories together! We also enrolled my younger brother through her studio because of her professional attitude and the great person she is! Thanks for everything Mrs. Haroldsen!
I offer an introduction class (free) I explain my teaching methods, studio policies, and tuition. There is no short-term commitment. After the introduction class, the parents/students can decide if they want to continue.
I have a degree in Music and I am also a Certified Teacher from Simply Music.
Simply Music is a revolutionary piano method originated from Australia. The students learn to play different genres of music (classical, pop, accompaniment, blues) in a short period of time.
I offer 30 min, 45 min, and 60 min lessons. I also offer group lessons, 2-4 people, for 45 min. The tuition is set as a flat fee/month and registration fee.

Music was always a big part of my life as long as I remember. I took the first piano lessons when I was 6 years old. After that, I switched to the violin. Later I learned how to play the guitar. I came to the States to study music and my main instrument was vocal.
During years od education I decided to teach so I have been teaching off and on for over 30 years. But in the last 20 years, I have been teaching consistently.
During my teaching career, I thought students in levels from beginners to intermediate. I also thought different ages group from 5 up to 75
My last event that I attended was a Simply Music Teachers conference. I enjoy learning and applying new teaching ideas from others.
I would advise being committed for at least a full year. Learning any instrument requires work and persistence.
I would suggest reading my policies and tuition on my website.
Be willing to communicate.
