About
I have been teaching for over 25 years of private lessons in person and online.
My degree is in Music from SUU (Cedar City UT) I have been teaching piano, string instrument, and vocal. I have experience in composition and theory.
The piano method I use is nontraditional, called Simply Music. It is a wonderful method that originated in Australia. It is simple for very young students as well as adults. I am a certified Simply Music Piano teacher.
I also have a couple of CDs recorded with my own compositions and did some local performances.
In my opinion, any teacher enjoys seeing their "fruits" when students make a progress. Especially those who never had any experience with an instrument.
I love seeing, commitment, hard work, improvement, and joy in my students:-)
During years of teaching, I met many wonderful students who loved music and wanted to develop a skill.
