The Piano And Voice Studio Of Andrea LleEllyn, Soprano,
About
***My studios are in Spokane Valley and in my home in CdA; I also travel to students for an extra fee, and as far South as Lewiston/Clarkston! Please call or text my phone first.***
There is nothing I love more than guiding people in learning to properly sing and/or play the piano: it fills me up inside & is my niche; I've known for a very long time it would be, but confirmation came in the first lesson I ever gave.
I've had my own studio since 2010, I've run a studio in 3 Spokane YMCA locations, and am a quarter from my BA at EWU in Music. I have taught in public schools, performed in college, in local theaters, in bands & worship teams, and have sung private gigs.
Feel free to check out my Fb business page to see my accomplishments!
I am willing to take students at my home or via the internet. My rate is the lowest going rate, as I believe private lessons should be affordable to all. The first time I meet with someone is free. I'm also willing to financially work with low-income students.
Everyone who is hungry to learn deserves a good teacher. I love that I have the opportunity to bring even more quality music into the world and to help others discover the joy with their full potential. There is nothing more enjoyable to me than to see a person's face light up or to see them excitedly make connections as they learn.
What excites & satisfies me about my work is the work. Teaching singing & piano is my niche in life where I go into a mental zone. My joy & satisfaction comes from getting to help a student grow. I really care about my students. I am quirky & laid back, I will make you laugh at times, and you will enjoy the process.
I incorporate holistic & psychological practices to help students with stage fright, or who are just overloaded in life, to be able to get past those barriers.
I think outside the box, so my lessons aren't the stereotypical ones people imagine.
I asked a student of mine a couple years back, after 2 years of lessons, what she thought. Her reply was that it isn't what she thought it would be, but it just works.
I take great joy in assisting my students to grow in their art.

deaf to hearing & singing in key and accurately. She gained confidence, learned coping
mechanisms, and over all improved a ton. She really enjoyed her lessons over the years.
Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know the goals & desires of why my students want lessons, answer any questions there are, and set up a lesson. At the first lesson, I get to know the student a little better, find out how they are, and introduce them to what lessons are; find the appropriate material for their level, and go from there.
