Private piano and flute lessons for all ages: 5 - 105! I have over 25 years of teaching experience and love sharing my passion for music. My lessons focus on music theory, sight reading and fun! My curriculum is uniquely adapted to each student's learning style and needs.
I love how every student is unique and has their own learning style with music. Teaching never gets boring as I am challenged to find what motivates and clicks with each student every week! My favorite teaching moments are when a student throws themselves into practicing a new song with passion and I get to close my eyes and sit back and listen to the results!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by assessing a student's learning style, preferences and goals for their instrument. Then I adapt my curriculum to fit each individual student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied music at Pensacola Christian College in Florida and Olympic College in Washington. I have been teaching private lessons for 23 years.

Lessons are $17 per half hour lesson, offered weekly.

I have worked with students ranging in age from 4 years old to adults in their fifties and from children with learning disabilities to extremely gifted students and everything in between.
