Michael Armstrong Piano Lessons

My name is Michael and I've taught piano over 10yrs including my children.

Students will learn a variety of songs, ranging from folkloric as well as fun contemporary songs. All lessons are customized to the tastes and interests of each individual student in order to get the most out of the lessons. All lessons are personalized to each student, and I will capitalize on the strengths, as self esteem is CRUCIAL with regards to learning piano.

My schedule is flexible. Lessons include note reading, technique, mastery of rhythms, chord theory, interpretation, expression, and more, from classics to playing pop songs just for fun!-- During lessons, I cover all aspects of music, including theory, harmony and history through interactive and fun lessons.

Students will learn how to read music, play by ear and develop their skills through weekly lessons and at-home practice lessons. I teach children ages 5 to adult.
