I've been raised around Christian music, mainly worship. Therefore, at Genesis, we are successful at raising young worship leaders and musicians

Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Vocal Accompaniment, Performance, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing
Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:
Most of our new students are beginners; therefore, in our first lesson together we discuss the make-up of the guitar (body, neck, frets, bridge, etc), the strings and their names, and one or two basic chords.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:
Study of various styles and techniques, chord voicing, sight reading, transcribing, scales, modes, rhythm and lead playing, melodic phrasing, and ear training. Most of our students are in a group setting, of 5-7 students; however, we also offer private instruction.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
Our target audience are 3rd - 8th grade students; however, we also offer special classes for High School students and adults. Whatever the age, our students must be ready to learn, work and have fun!
