Tapestry Music, serving the Birmingham, AL area, provides private lessons in piano, guitar, banjo, and voice in two different locations, Irondale and Vestavia Hills.
I have taught private lessons for a total of about 10 years. I'm a classically trained pianist, a prize-winning old-time banjo player, a solid guitarist, and can also play a few other instruments. What makes me different is that I seriously love to teach and have a lot of teaching experience. Getting to know my students and what they need and want is fascinating to me. One of my students' mothers said once, "If you were teaching her to weave baskets underwater, it would still be good."
