I love teaching piano and voice! Make it fun is my motto! One on one lessons weekly build relationships and develop talents. Ive taught piano & voice for 30+ years in Alabama, Mississippi, and now Arkansas. I have students in NYC and on Broadway .
I enjoy the children, their personalities and eagerness to learn and do well. My focus is on instilling a lifelong skill , teaching your child to love music and to express his emotions thru it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with fingering a scale each week. We study in lesson books and have familiar songs like hymns to play and sing. Bring a notebook so we can decorate it with stickers when you pass a song! Our goal is the Recital in May. We are working towards a trophy, ribbons and medals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors of Music in Performance from Birmingham- Southern College
My voice teachers were with NYC Opera, The Met and had a European Career. My piano teacher was Julliard trained....so i had TOP NOTCH training!!University of South Carolina 1 year graduate work

Registration per year is $40. I usually charge a monthly price.
