Hi I’m Shawn. I first picked up guitar and piano when I was young and took a long break during my career. After returning from the Army I picked it back up and haven’t stopped since. That was around 2016. Since then I have worked hard to hone in on foundations that are great for any one starting out their musical journey. Music is a beautiful thing and understanding it from a foundational approach from the get go is the best. Even if you’ve already played for awhile and simply use you tube or tabs I can help you with some better options for learning aurally. Rhythm, ear training and chordal style rhythm/lead approach will be the core foundations that we build upon. We will explore rhythm, harmony and melody and how to make music! My focus is on beginners or advancing beginners. I mentor under Ulrich Ellison for my own guitar growth and love helping others reach their musical goals!
