What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to learn what style the student wants to play. I focus in on that style but also teach the essentials.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing guitar for 14 years, played in two different bands and have taught guitar to several people.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
First hour lesson is free!
I charge $20/an hour as a standard rate.
As far as payment, I take Paypal payments at the end of each session.
How did you get started teaching?
I taught my cousin guitar initially and it gave me an idea!
What types of students have you worked with?
Mainly people slightly younger than me at the time. I can teach kids just fine as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you're starting out on guitar and want to know the basics (and/or more later on) I can get you started with the essentials and progress in whatever way you'd like!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
You shouldn't have to think that much! Just let me know what you like and I can figure out what you need to succeed!
