About
Hi future artist!
I inspire. I preach Art. I teach Art. I live Art.
That is what it takes to be a painter. The passion, the need to create, the yearning to develop their own style/art, time, discipline and sacrifice.
All for Art's sake.
In the beginning when God made Adam and Eve and got busted for eating the apple Adam was so embarrassed he felt naked and made himself a cover for his body. He think and imagined and created. He did not know that he made Art.
An imagination or a visual image being formed in my head is enough for me to feel satisfied.
I'm talking about freedom to express one's inner thoughts creatively.... Art!
I enjoy.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Lesson #1: Blank Canvas
Even before we meet. I want you to think and be ready of what you will do with a blank canvas.
You can draw, paint, spray, scribble, splash, throw or anything you can think of to put something on that blank canvas. No limits.
Think, imagine, create... be yourself.
Lesson #2: The Basics
This will basically depends on the "Blank Canvas" part. Everyone is different. My objective is to develope what you already got without putting pressure for you to change.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been drawing and painting since I was able to grab something that can put a mark on a surface.
Born in Manila in the 60's my Dad bought an encyclopedia (old school internet) I opened the first book ( letter A)and landed in Art! It is colored, paintings, humans, forms, shapes, big, small, abstracts, realism, expressionism, van Gogh... I was in heaven. I found some crayons my older sister left at the kitchen. I started copying them. Everyday I will draw. I don't need a babysitter I will just draw!
10 year old ten outstanding artist of the Philippines was written in my certificate when I won a National Art Competition. I even saw myself on TV.
Thank you Mom and Dad for encouraging.
Majored in painting at Phil. College of Music and Fine Art's. Dean's rep for art contest. 2 year scholarship.
I am a Filipino, Canadian and a USA green card holder "artist".
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest to hire someone who really practice the Art. Not a teacher of the Arts. Hire a master who cares about real aesthetics, humanity and Art for humanity.
