Acoustic guitar lessons!
I'm very comfortable working with new players, will work at their pace, and make sure they’re comfortable with the guitar and work with their style and goals. I'll also show you some basics on shopping for a guitar, how to change strings, how to tune a guitar, explain the fretboard and octaves.
I can do lessons in person or via Zoom meetings.
The guitar is a beautiful instrument. Learning about it, listening / watching other players, just sharing with students why we love the instrument is really cool.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, get them comfortable with touching, handling the guitar. Often times new players are hesitant to really feel the guitar out. Another good way to begin is to explain the instrument to them, how its laid out, going over the fretboard, octaves, basic chords.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing guitar since 1985, very comfortable working with new players. Ive taught a few friends basic guitar, I also play regularly, I also write music too.
