I am a dedicated, passionate, knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate music teacher. I am a lifelong musician who is skilled in singing and playing intruments. I am passionate about helping each student to maximize their musical skills while reaching their goals, enjoy music, and have fun! I provide individulaized lesson plans based on each student's learning style, skill level, and personality. I believe that music is a healer, builds self-esteem, and is the universal language that everyone understands.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Grand Canyon University and have been teaching for about 16 years.
I love meeting and getting to know many different kinds of people from all walks of life. I love to see each student grow musically, become more and more self-confident in their musical abilities, and enjoy music wholeheartedly.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first time I meet with them, I get their musical history, and do a little evaluation and assessment to determine what level they are at so that I can choose their lesson books. I prefer to discuss with a new student their short and long-term goals, and what they would like to accomplish during the time they are taking lessons. I like to establish a good repoire with them, and assure them that I allow them to progress at a comfortable pace, and I am not pushy. The most important thing is that the student is comfortable with me teaching them.
