i enjoy teaching and helping my students reach their musical goals. i make lifelong friends and sometimes my students even become my band mates, its really awesome to perform with my students its also so rewarding to watch their growth and talent mature. and finally watching them create their own music and start their own bands or solo act.

I took lessons from Jim Starke for many years starting when I was 8 years old. I learned piano, guitar, and alot about music in general. I am now pursuing a degree in Audio Production thanks to the skills I learned at On Stage. They can help bring out the best in yourself and in your talent! I got piano lessons from Jim Starke when I was in middle school. Being years and years ago, I still remember how amazing those lessons were. I always felt comfortable and Jim was always so patient and knowledgeable- it was just like a dear friend was teaching me to play. I liked the pace and the expectations that were set up for me, and if I was having trouble with what I was practicing at home then we would go over it again at the next class! I will always look on those lessons as a fond memory of my childhood. I would recommend to any level of learning. Thank you Jim!
