My teaching approach:

I teach a very thorough method. Working with students from beginner to advanced, I listen to your goals, and create a teaching plan to help us achieve those goals. We will work on many aspects of the guitar such as technique, fretboard knowledge, theory, and composition, song writing, and recording.

My influences are:

My early influences are the Beatles and the British Invasion bands. I have been influenced by many others since, too many to briefly mention.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:

The introductory lesson is an opportunity to give an overview of my teaching method. It is a lot more than just getting to know the student. There will be homework! But it will be fun and hopefully a bit challenging.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:

We would spend the initial portion of the lesson looking at the student's progress since our last meeting. We would recap, fine tune that lessons objectives, and then move on to another lesson in line with that students goals.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
