My experience of playing, teaching and performing for over 30 years makes me one of a kind and superior in my approach and methods to other teachers and tthat makes for each student becoming a life long player .......
Seeuuu7ing my students excel and develope a passion for the guitar.......keeping my brain hardwired into the guitar and letting the power of music manifest itself through my hands when I play...... ..

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Developing proper technique and knowledge that puts them on the fast track...... Without developing bad habits that limit their future musical aspirations
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Technology Education from the University of Wyoming and a guitar building...Luthiery degree..... From Roberto Venn school of Luthiery ....I have taught over 5000 students while repairing, performing and teaching the guitar for over 30 yrs......I read music and teach theory...but I am best when I'm developing skill and a life time of work or leisure opportunities through the guitar for each student.....
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
........the average price for a 30 minute lesson in the Valley is $35 in store.........so in comparison I'm asking less than an in store lesson and NOT asking for money for travel expenses!!!
I could come every other week if that helps financially........I will not waste your time and I am the real thing!!!!
$60 an hour or $30 a half hour .......all other meeting time durations are negotiable and multi students lessons are welcome and negotiable as well
How did you get started teaching?
I love the guitar more than anybody I've ever met......I just wanted to share my passion
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and levels.....I have students teaching all over this planet.....some in Universities and some in music stores........My goal is to get each student to play for a life time
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be ready to practice and see your dreams realized as I have. Most guitar teachers are players who are not qualified to teach anything lasting such as proper technique and don't have the experiential knowledge gained through teaching over 5000 students and building by hand over 30 guitars as I have......
