What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I really like to have students grow their own unique style so a lot of my teaching revolves around the students interests and style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken lessons from private instructors as well as public institutes like the School of Rock Foundation. I have also given lessons at the School of Rock Foundation teaching drums, guitar, and more!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20 half an hour and $35 for the whole hour!
How did you get started teaching?
This is actually my first try at teaching! I have taught classes of students but am very excited to get started with one-on-ones!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have only worked with beginners ages 4-12. But can teach all ages!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always remember to practice what you like! If you like what you practice, it doesn’t feel like practicing!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do I want? What kind of music do I like? What do I want to do with my music?
