I customize the lesson based on the students preferences. I teach theory, songs, riffs, different styles, strumming pattern, scales. I will teach you to play your favorite songs, and to read tabulature. I teach on an electric or acousticguitar and I teach all ages and skill levels.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each lesson will be once a week for an hour. I charge $30/hour. I have students who also have 2 hour week lessons. If you don't have a guitar yet or not sure what to get or how to get started, I will bring a guitar for you to play until you find one. Also, my lessons are fun and you will learn to play!!

I teach currently beginners aging from 6-60. I currently have 5 students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is important to have a desired path on the guitar. Many instructors teach different styles and techniques and is preferable to learn from a teacher who's style you like.
I open up possibilities initially because guitar can be rock, metal,acoustic, blues, funk, classical, Spanish, etc. I allow to have a taste of all styles.
