About

Vibe My Guitar is a program taught by founder and instructor Zach Erfort. Helping any level guitar player play what they want to hear.

You tell me who you want to sound like!

I can help you achieve the style and sound you want by teaching the fundamentals, with exercises and ear training.

Whether you are a beginner looking to learn how to play a song start to finish,or an expert wanting to expand their playing and writing abilities.

Lessons are broken down starting with basic fundamentals and building up with exercises.

Ear training is a very important technique that helpโ€™s students develop a relationship and trust in what they hear and how they express it. In time this will help with their evolution as a player and songwriter.

I enjoy guiding others to find and bring out other sides of themselves through expression on guitar.

Guitar is a passion for me from the first day I picked up one. Seeing that same passion and drive with my students is a gift that keeps on giving.

Zach is an amazing guitarist! Im not sure how hes not a household name yet (?) He can play and teach many genres and levels effectively. He also has a lot of knowledge about pedals, amps and overall tone. If youre a beginner or a rusty veteran, hes definitely a great choice for guitar instruction.

Zach has been great, I came into this with no known musical talent whatsoever but he has brought so much more out of then I had ever thought. It has always been a dream to play the guitar and I am so happy I chose Zach as my teacher

    Frequently asked questions

I always enjoy teaching face to face. Due to circumstances with what's going on in the world, zoom and facetime is the best way to communicate and teach lessons. The lessons begin with getting to know the student and what they are wanting to achieve. Evaluation allows me to put together exercises to help succeed with their goals. It's important to get inside the minds of the player they want to portray. So ear training for those characteristics is another very important teaching they will learn.

I have played guitar for over 16 years. I have toured and written in many bands of all styles. I have learned from ear training and observation the most. In a way it's like acting because you must understand where it comes from to portray that specific genre of music.

    $25 per individual lesson.

I have produced and co wrote with many artist over the years and I always enjoyed helping bands find their sound and learn more about song writing. It's the same concept with guitar. That's my main instrument and there is so much to learn and express with it. I enjoy learning just as much as teaching.

I have worked with students and bands that range from blue grass, blues, folk, country, rock, indie rock, metal. Throw a genre my way and I will teach what it takes to learn that genre.

Every day in the studio there is always a new lesson to learned and memory to be had ๐Ÿ™

Look for a teacher that truly understands you and who is just as excited about your journey as you are. There's no worse feeling than working with someone who treats you like a paycheck.

The most important questions to ask is surrounded by their goals and what they like to achieve.
Students will have a much clearer vision when they know what they would like to get out of their training. One of the most important questions is are they having fun?
