When you take lessons with me, you will be working with an instructor with over 20 years' teaching experience who is not only a performing musician, but also a state certified music educator. Your lessons will be designed around your interests, will meet you at your current level, and will take you to the the next level in a clear, logical path. Working with me you not only learn riffs, licks, chords, scales, arpeggios, and songs, you will also learn how music works.

I am fluent in many styles including folk, blues, jazz, world beat, reggae and metal. I am extremely patient and I pride myslef in making lessons easy to understand and relevant to your guitar playing goals.

I enjoy teaching guitar because I love sharing my passion with other people. I also love and am very knowledgeable about music and the guitar- genres, history, technique, theory, gear, technology, etc., and this comes out in the lessons.
