My two children have been taking lessons with Ms. Anna for a while now. Ms Anna took in my son, who was very young at the beginning, and adapted her teaching style to accommodate his learning level. She is very patient and provides lots of words of encouragement that helps my kids going. When the pandemic hit, Ms Anna quickly transitioned to online classes and it was the only lesson we continued and I am very glad we did! The kids love learning piano from her!

Anna has been a real asset to my sons (16 and 18) singing pursuits. She is a patient teacher and a consummate professional. Both kids have improved their sight reading and vocal performance skills. She provides feedback and advice in a clear and compassionate way. She has a ton of experience and it shows.

Ms. Anna worked with our two boys, ages 11 and 6. Not only does she have such strong classical background, she is also a great teacher. She was curious about the students, often asking questions about school or their own interests or lives. I noticed this help to create a bond of trust and comfort, especially for our younger student. Ms. Anna is also very intuitive and attentive, despite teaching during quarantine times via zoom, and could sense when our students were distracted or frustrated. She would slow down to ensure that they were always engaged or following along. This is such a wonderful skill for teaching!

Anna is an inspiring and supportive teacher. Shes amazingly attuned to each students particular progress, and deeply skilled at supporting the stage, while helping us grow to the next level. She has taught me (age 53) and my son (age 12), bringing joy to the process regardless of our ability, personalities, or maturity :) .

Even over FaceTime and Zoom, Anna has been able to bring out the best in my voice to the point where I have been able to shock my friends and family when they hear me sing! Anna is able to coach and teach very effectively and she knows exactly how to diagnose and build upon any opportunities you may have as a singer. Her teaching style matches her personality which is always upbeat, positive and encouraging. I have since signed my two youngest children up for piano and voice and they absolutely enjoy their opportunity to learn from her!

Young to mature, new to advance.

I love it when my new students especially 4-6 years olds start to understand and grasp how music is mathmatical. It's such a joy to see their mind engaged.

Make sure it's a fit. You're hiring them just as much as them "hiring" you. To get the most progress and growth in your study you need to make sure you trust and enjoy time spent with your teacher
