Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For new customers, we always schedule a TRIAL LESSON to help them check the level and what instrument would work best. The trial lesson is for all the new customers ( whether beginner or advanced ). We DON'T charge anything for the trial lesson. The trial lesson will help the student understand the possibilities and we would get to know as well how to proceed with the lessons. So it's a WIN WIN situation for both. After the Trial lesson, the customer can make a decision to schedule the lessons based on day and time convenience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors are classically trained with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree level of education and have graduated from highly reputable music schools and conservatories.

How did you get started teaching?
Donna Lee started the academy in 2009 with the name Lee Music School. She graduated as Masters in Music Education and Minor in Vocal Arts from USC. She felt the need to share her passion for music with the community. It has been 7 years now and we are still up and running with the same vision which Donna had in the beginning.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with all kinds of customers till now. With a 3 years old girl taking vocal lessons to a 65 years old male taking violin lessons. We entertain all kinds of customers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Every year, we have two major events and we love making them happen. 1. Christmas Recital 2. Certificate Of Merit We strive to make them as successful as possible. We offer training for students to keep them motivated and continue with their musical journey. As a result, none of our students has even failed in CM Test and they are growing ever since.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
We would suggest to lookout for different options and get to know your teacher whether through a trial lesson or paid lesson to make sure you and your kids succeed in the right way.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Customers should know about the level they are on and what they are expecting out of the lessons.
