About
I have over forty years experience in Los Angeles as owner of the Jean Brady Cooking School which was located in Rustic Canyon. My students included chefs, caterers and folks who just wanted or needed to put a creative meal on the table.
I also offerred classes by guest teachers who included Jacques Pepin, Paula Wolfert and Nancy Silverton.
i had one student, my cilantro stemmer, who took classes for fourteen years and attended almost every guest class as well. Some students confessed that although they never cooked, they loved the food and the new friends they made along the way!!!
My work is totally creative. I love the planning of the menus, the shopping for fresh and often unique ingredients and meeting each and every new student.
i especially enjoy watching people go from insecure to confident as they cook my exact recipes then extrapolate to make dishes their own.
