My teaching approach: As a teacher I have a wide range of experience. I've taught kids of all ages from 5 years old and up, to adults who want to take their playing to the next level. I have a patient and laid back approach to teaching, but every lesson picks up where the last left off, allowing the student to see (and hear) progress. I offer new ideas about music, while helping the student to accomplish their goals. My influences are: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Nirvana, many, many blues and Jazz guitarists, and countless other styles of music whether they involve the guitar or not... I'm influenced and inspired by all forms of musical expression. My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio or the student's home Guitar Techniques: Guidance In Equipment Selection, Song Writing, Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Improvisation, Performance, Vocal Accompaniment, Slide Guitar, Fingerstyle, Open tuning, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar

I have a Masters Degree in Music Performance and Education from the Manhattan School of Music. More importantly, in my opinion though, is the experienced that I've gained in working with all types of students during the past 15 years.
