Always wanted to try the violin ? Or maybe you stopped and would like to restart ? Would you like to improve your skills with a customized and individualized program ?
No boring stuff like music theory (unless you want it), no obligatory song, no contract. Begin, end, resume whenever you want. Every week, every two weeks, you choose (depending on my schedule). Set the pace, have fun and enjoy your instrument !
A little bit about me :
My name is Chan-Wei Chao. I'm 28 and grew up in Switzerland. I started the violin at 8 and I've been playing ever since.
Won second prize in a Swiss competition for youngsters.
Graduated with a pre-professional level before entering university in another field of study.
On top of that, I had the privilege to play among amazing artists, be it in orchestra, bands, jam-session, weddings, conventions and more.
Had the opportunity to teach several beginners who loved it. 2 years ago moved to Oakland, CA.
I can also teach French as it is my primary language.
