Claire Tolman Piano Lessons

I am a young, motivated and dedicated teacher. I studied piano performance, music theory and composition at Occidental College, and currently teach three beginner students, with ages ranging from 6 to 40. My goal with beginners is to make sure they are learning basic theory, while also having lots of fun. I give them the flexibilty to choose whatever pieces they would like to learn, and keep the lessons lighthearted, making sure I build a positive and comfortable relationship with my student.

I love seeing a student's joy and satisfaction when something finally clicks and they are able to play a tricky part or understand a concept.
