About
I love teaching others to express themselves and their creativity through the power of music. Learning to sing, play piano or songwrite can be such a fundamental tool into further development in personal life, career, expression and happiness. I love witnessing people grow and being a part of the journey!
Being a performer myself (I perform weekly across LA), I love being able to translate my onstage life right into the studio, teaching others how to vocalise, express, and learn technique to help gain or further musical understanding. Music is a calm for the soul, and it is a joy to help others bring this into their lives.
I am a performer & artist - therefore I am also very skilled at helping those who like to work on their own material, those who are hoping to perform out in public, and those who are keen on finding their artistic voice and taking their musicality to the next level.
I teach all ages and levels. I have been a classical pianist since the age of 3, receiving my first degree at 11 years old, and another at 15 years old. I am highly skilled in all genres of piano. As an artist, I have released 2 albums and a number of singles (with GRAMMY-winners Adrian Young (No Doubt) and Tim Sonnefeld among others), and perform weekly in Los Angeles. I am a prolific songwriter, and singer & performer and feel very passionate to pass on my knowledge to others passionate about music and creativity.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first decipher the student's needs and desires, and form a structure around that. I always like to focus on what you want to learn and work on, and am capable of teaching a wide variety of genres and styles. I can also provide clear guidance if a student does not have specific goals on what they'd like to learn. I provide materials to work on and practice in between lessons.
I encourage confidence, self-expression and getting in touch with your desire to learn music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two diplomas in Classical Piano Performance - an Associates degree (ATCL) and Licentiates (LTCL). I have been a pianist for 20 years. I have trained in singing for 17 years and am currently a performer in LA with my own show. I hold a number of residencies across LA and am an established artist as well as teacher.
I also teach at music schools, currently the Silverlake Conservatory of Music.
