Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All our voice teachers are working professionals so your lessons will be a mix of learning about the voice, exercises to develop it and singing actual songs. We are all about getting results and with practical application that results in you being a better singer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Jeannie Deva studied at Berklee College of Music and graduated with a BA in Music Composition. They didn't offer a voice major degree at the time. She studied with many renowned voice teachers privately and finally developed her own method -The Deva Method - after years of research in vocal anatomy and pedagogy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each teacher has their own rates ranging from $60 to $100 for a 45 minute lesson. However there are packages of lessons - 4 and 10 lessons - that reduce the per lesson rate.
