Stand-up Striking
About
After finishing school and getting my degree I realized that a desk job just doesnt feel like the whole me. I studied martial arts intensely while in school and found a lot of benefit in it, mentally and physically. My diciplines are Muay Thai and Boxing, but I also train Jiu Jitsu. Through these arts, I found strength, confidence, and community. It is my passion and it became a part of my mission to help others see the same benefit as I did so I can add further value to peoples lives. I offer clear instruction, deep knowledge, and practical training methods that have been used by pro athletes and gyms for decades. I currently train and coach out of Vital Force MMA in chino california. I also train out of Sektor Jiu Jitsu.
The greatest satisfaction is seeing people grow into a better fighter within a single session.

How did you get started teaching?
My ambitions were to become a pro fighter, teaching was my means to becoming a better fighter and I fell in love with it.
What types of students have you worked with?
Muay thai and boxing students
Students with no experience to students with years of experience.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Seeing my student spar after doing personal training with me and having their growth show during sparring is very satisfying.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There is a lot of garbage out there Ill admit. There is a lot of teaching of bad technique and there are people that will makes it feel like you are doing a great job but it will not be applicable for self defense. Ive had students who said they've been training for years and their technique didnt show and they accumulated bad habits that had to be fixed. I've seen those coaches before too. Coaches who have trained less than a year and then start to pick from what they learned to try to coach others and its garbage. Its very disrespectful. Be weary of them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do I want to learn technique or am I here for a good workout?
Can this coach actually help me become a better fighter?
