Music Is Discipline, Joy, And Beauty

I graduated from the Ivy League School, Mount Holyoke College with a major in Music/French then studied piano in New York. I have had many successful students whom I teach through high school and coach some students in college. My studio comprises not only learning about all aspects of the classical literature but supplemental material dealing with the innovations and harmonic development of present-day music. My studio is busy with recitals, workshops, concerts, critiquing sessions. Through extensive harmonic study, my students are prepared to compose and reach out to modern-day innovations. I have been a successful teacher for 37 years, I own a Steinway, and each day provides interest and challenges. I also develop group performances i.e. piano duets and material dealing with other instruments.
