My main goal as a teacher is to balance what you need to know with what you want to know so that way you have fun learning your favorite songs while also learning the essential skills to become a better guitar player.
I have been playing guitar for over 11 years and have been teaching for the last 4 years at Rock Inc. School of Music in Citrus Heights. I have been in bands and performed all around the Sacramento area.
I teach from anywhere from beginning to advanced levels. I am proficient in playing Rock, Blues, Metal, Funk, Jazz and Country.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to know what my student's goal is and then work backwards from there. I also make sure that my students have a good foundation of knowledge of music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing guitar for over 11 years. I have played live numerous times and have written and recorded songs for the bands I was in.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$125 a month for one 30 minute lesson a week.
How did you get started teaching?
I first started out as an intern at Rock Inc. and eventually landed a spot in the teacher training program and then ultimatley became a teacher.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught all age groups and am able to provide lessons for students that are any where from beginning to advanced levels.
