Mike Caffell

Mike is an exceptional drum teacher. I have worked with several teachers/coaches in the past and, as far as I’m concerned, Mike is the best out there. From the day we started working together, Mike took an active interest in the songs and styles that I wanted to learn. He constantly pushed me to hone my skills and improve steadily in the most encouraging way possible. Mike is incredibly patient - he was able to gauge my ability and provide tailored coaching. I would recommend Mike to anyone looking to improve their chops, regardless of skill level.

Mike is very supportive,detailed, and most importantly patient. As an educator these are very important qualities to have. I am a current intermediate drum student and I definitely feel like I have learned a lot with Mike. He redirects you in a fun way when you start to trail off the original beats. Also he assists in breaking down beats to a simpler form if you are having a hard time with syncopation. Mikes in depth knowledge of theory and practice are of top notch quality and you leave the lesson with a lot of material to practice.
