Instruments are an extension of oneself, I focus on developing the musician within each of us to their fullest potential. My passion is to Connect and inspire through music, Share my passion for music with those around me, and Teach creativity through music.
I have a strong interest in working in this field and have a passion for singing, music, drama, dance, health, and fitness. I am very traditional with technique in the arts, as the performing arts and music are a vocation for me. My goal is to teach students how to develop a strong foundation first, to enable them to grow as artists, as people, and in their academic careers. I don’t believe in skipping steps, and I strive to make sure students learn each step well, in order, before moving forward. I aim to provide a fun, respectful, and professional environment for students and tailor lessons to each individual depending on grade level,

As a professional opera singer, I have been singing professionally for 20 years and have more than 40 roles to my credit, including performances at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall.
I have been teaching voice privately since 2007, to studios of up to as many as 35 students of all ages in several major metropolitan areas all across the U.S.
I am primarily a classical musician, and I use that foundation in my teaching of all vocal music. I have a broad base of knowledge and experience to bring to my teaching. I work with students on all aspects of vocal technique, musicality and musical fluency, musical communication, and dramatic presence.

Singing has been my passion ever since I can remember. When I embarked on my singing training, I made sure to fully understand the way the entire voice worked, every part of the vocal mechanism. I can pass the knowledge on to you! I have also spent a lot of time learning good musicianship, which I pass on to both my piano and voice students.
Each session, I focus on teaching a lesson tailored specifically to each students' needs and moving step by step accordingly based on a structured syllabus. If necessary, and at no cost to the student, I am willing to go overtime with the student to ensure that they go home with a clear understanding of their piano pieces and what is expected from them in their assigned homework. This allows for our lesson in the following week's session to be as productive as possible in order for us to move on to the next level and learn new music pieces. I also teach Music Theory classes to help...

I am excited and passionate to work with both beginning as well as more advanced students of singing and the voice....I have spent many years of my life in the pursuit of a beautiful sound and the ability to express it meaningfully, in a way that moved others. I was blessed with a natural musical ability, but not everyone is. Since beginning to teach, it has become my endeavor to effectively and creatively impart that which does not always come naturally to others. As a teacher, coach and inspirational influencer of my students, my background in voice performance and an innate talent for teaching combine well with an intuitive ability to give

I am a piano instructor with over 35 years of experience. I consider students I select to study with me as partners who wish to unlock their potential both as a pianist and a musician. Becoming a pianist is the experience of mastering techniques and skills for proper use of an acoustic piano.
Becoming a musician is the the cohesion between emotional, relational, cognitive and artistic development applied to the skills of piano playing. I train students to "listen" and adjust to more proper technique in order to address the freedom of expressing how and why any piece can be played or performed with joy.
